Industry Partnership Internship Program

Funded by a PAsmart / Industry Partnership grant made available from the Department of Labor and Industry, internship reimbursements are available to Manufacturing, Building/Construction, and Healthcare & Social Assistance employers who hire interns who meet the requirements below.

Eligible employers can receive up to 50% reimbursement of student wages up to a maximum of $3,000.00.  More than one student can be employed by a company or healthcare facility.

Requirements of the Industry Partnership Internship Program include:

• Must be currently enrolled in or recently completed a field of study, including high school, career and technical education, industry recognized training program, or associates degree or higher that aligns with internship position; and
• Must pay at least $14.00 per hour; and
• Must work a minimum of 6 weeks or work at an average of 10-30 hours per week.

Funding is available from September 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.

Due to an overwhelming demand, applications are no longer being accepted for Building & Construction internships.
