Local Plan

The local plan is a requirement of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and serves as a four-year action plan to develop, align, and integrate service delivery strategies to support Pennsylvania's vision, strategic and operational goals within our workforce development area.  

Local Plan: 2025-2028

This plan will be effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2029 and is currently open for public comments:

Workforce Solutions for North Central PA is soliciting public input on the 2025-2028 Workforce Development Area Local and Regional Plan in accordance with WIOA Sec. 107 and 20CFR Part 679. The Workforce Development Area includes the counties of Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter Counties. This plan support Workforce Solutions (Workforce Development Board) vision of our Workforce Development System for our Region.

In addition, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:00am via zoom. Anyone wishing to attend the hearing may contact our office for the link. 

Comments on the plan will be accepted starting January 6, 2025 through February 4, 2025 by contacting Donna, or mailing comments to our office. 

Local Plan: 2021-2024

This plan is effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025. 

Modification #2 is effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025.
